Alloy Steel Pipe combines low-alloy 4140 chemistry with chromium and molybdenum additions for reliable mechanical performance at elevated temperatures and consistent dimensional control. The normalized and tempered condition delivers proven creep resistance and weldability, making the pipe suited to boiler tubes, power generation systems, petrochemical plant and high-temperature service piping. Supplied to ASTM A335 / EN 10216-2 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, it supports global procurement for high-temperature and high-pressure projects.

02 What is the typical delivery condition?
4140 alloy pipe is typically supplied in normalized and tempered or quenched and tempered condition to meet the specified mechanical properties.
03 Is seamless or welded construction available?
Alloy steel pipe in this product line is supplied as seamless to ASTM A335. Welded alternatives (A691) can be considered on request.
04 What testing is performed?
Hydrostatic test, flattening test, hardness test and chemical / mechanical tests per ASTM A335. Additional NDT such as UT or ET can be specified.
05 Can alloy pipe be supplied with beveled ends?
Yes. Plain end, beveled end (30°), threaded and coupled end preparations are available to project specification.
