Checkered Diamond Steel Plate combines low-carbon carbon steel with a raised diamond pattern on one surface for reliable anti-slip performance, structural strength and consistent dimensional control. The hot rolled base and patterned surface make the plate suited to industrial flooring, walkways, ramps, vehicle decks, stair treads and platform surfaces. Supplied to ASTM A36 / EN 10025-2 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, it supports global procurement across construction, transport and general industrial supply chains.

01 What is checkered / diamond plate?
Checkered (or diamond) plate is a hot-rolled carbon steel plate with a raised diamond or teardrop pattern on one side for slip resistance and decorative use.
02 What are typical applications?
Checkered plate is widely used for industrial flooring, walkways, stair treads, ramps, vehicle beds, equipment platforms and decorative cladding.
03 What thickness range is available?
Standard thickness 2 - 12 mm. Heavier thicknesses up to 25 mm are available on request.
04 What patterns are available?
Standard raised diamond (one-bar / five-bar) pattern is most common. Teardrop and lentil patterns are also available.
05 Can checkered plate be supplied with mill certificate?
Yes. EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with chemical composition and mechanical properties is standard.
