High Carbon Steel Wire combines high-carbon 1080 chemistry with cold drawing for reliable high tensile strength, fatigue resistance and consistent dimensional control. The hard drawn temper and elastic response make the wire suited to spring production, mechanical fasteners, wire forms, agricultural clips, brush filling and high-stress industrial components. Supplied to ASTM A228 / EN 10270-1 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, it supports global procurement for spring and mechanical component manufacturers.

02 What is it used for?
High-carbon wire is used for springs, music wire, mechanical springs, fasteners, upholstery springs, brush wire and general high-stress applications.
03 What surface finishes are available?
Bright (phosphate / soap drawn), galvanized, annealed and oil-tempered finishes can be supplied depending on end-use requirement.
04 What tensile strengths can be achieved?
Depending on diameter and finish, tensile strength typically ranges from 1500 to 3000 MPa. Specific tensile is confirmed per order.
05 What testing is performed?
Tensile test, torsion test, wrap test and dimensional inspection are standard. Fatigue testing can be arranged for spring applications.
