Regular Spangle Galvanized Coil combines low-carbon carbon steel with a continuous hot-dip zinc coating and a visible regular spangle pattern for reliable corrosion protection and consistent dimensional control. 01 What zinc coating weights are available for galvanized coil?
Common zinc coating designations are Z60, Z90, Z120, Z180, Z275 (g/m² total both sides). Heavier coatings are available on request.
02 Can the spangle pattern be specified?
Yes. Regular spangle, minimized spangle and zero spangle (galvannealed) finishes can be supplied. Skin-passed smooth surface is also available.
03 What is the difference between galvanized and galvannealed coil?
Galvanized coil has a pure zinc coating with visible spangle; galvannealed coil is heat-treated after coating to form a zinc-iron alloy with matte, paintable surface.
04 Are chromate and RoHS-compliant finishes available?
Yes. Hexavalent chromate, trivalent chromate and chromate-free (RoHS) passivation options are available. Final selection is confirmed per project.
05 What coil dimensions and MOQ apply?
Thickness 0.25 - 3.0 mm, width up to 1500 mm. MOQ varies by dimension; for common sizes 5 - 25 MT is typical.
