Cold Rolled Steel Plate combines low-carbon carbon steel with the dimensional precision and surface finish of cold rolling for reliable mechanical performance and consistent thickness tolerance. The smooth surface, flatness and uniform mechanical properties make the plate suited to precision fabrication, machinery components, metal furniture, signage and general industrial manufacturing. Supplied to ASTM A36 / EN 10025-2 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, it supports global procurement where flatness, surface quality and close tolerance are required.

01 What is cold-rolled steel plate?
Cold-rolled plate is produced by further processing hot-rolled plate at room temperature, improving surface finish, dimensional tolerance and mechanical strength.
02 What is the typical thickness range?
Cold-rolled plate is typically 0.5 - 6 mm thick. Heavier gauges may be produced by leveling hot-rolled plate.
03 What surface finishes are available?
Mill finish (matte), oiled finish, brushed finish and skin-passed finish are available.
04 What is the difference between cold-rolled plate and cold-rolled sheet?
Plate generally refers to thicker flat products (≥ 4 mm or per regional convention), while sheet is thinner. The standards and tolerances differ accordingly.
05 Is mill test certificate supplied?
Yes. EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with chemical composition and mechanical properties is standard.
