概要
Hot Rolled Steel Coil combines low-carbon carbon steel with the cost efficiency of hot strip rolling for reliable mechanical performance and consistent dimensional control across coil length. The mill finish, wide thickness range and good formability make the coil well suited to appliance manufacturing, building and structural applications, machinery, metal stamping and general fabrication. Supplied to ASTM A1008 / EN 10130 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, the coil supports global procurement for OEMs, service centres and project contractors.

01 What is the difference between hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil?
Hot-rolled coil is processed above the recrystallization temperature and shows a mill scale finish; cold-rolled coil is further processed at room temperature for tighter tolerances and smoother surface.
02 Can hot-rolled coil be pickled and oiled?
Yes. Pickling and oiling (P&O) or acid-pickled dry finish can be supplied as required. Mill scale can also be removed by shot blasting.
03 What thickness range is available for hot-rolled coil?
Typical hot-rolled coil thickness 1.5 - 12 mm, width up to 1800 mm. Custom slitting and cut-to-length available.
04 Which standards govern hot-rolled coil mechanical properties?
ASTM A1008, EN 10025-2 and JIS G3131 cover mechanical and chemical requirements. Final reference is confirmed in the order specification.
05 What documentation is provided with shipment?
EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate is standard. Chemical composition, mechanical properties and dimensional reports are included.
