01 What is matte stainless coil finish?
Matte finish is a low-reflectivity, non-directional surface typically produced by chemical etching or light abrasive brushing. It hides fingerprints and minor surface marks better than polished finishes.
02 Is matte coil suitable for kitchen and architectural use?
Yes. Matte stainless is widely used for kitchen appliances, elevator panels and architectural surfaces where reduced glare and lower visibility of marks are desired.
03 How is matte finish protected for shipment?
PE / PVC protective film with low-tack adhesive is applied. End caps and edge protectors prevent coil damage during handling.
04 Can matte coil be supplied with anti-fingerprint coating?
Yes. Anti-fingerprint (AFP) coating can be applied for additional surface protection. Final Ra and coating thickness are confirmed per project.
05 What thicknesses are available for matte coil?
Cold-rolled matte coil is typically 0.4 - 3.0 mm. Hot-rolled matte coil can be supplied up to 6 mm.
