01 How is mirror polished stainless coil produced?
Mirror polish is achieved by successive grinding and buffing stages using progressively finer abrasives, producing a highly reflective decorative surface. Final Ra is typically below 0.1 μm.
02 Is mirror polished coil suitable for forming?
Mirror polish is a surface treatment only. Formability follows the base grade (typically 304). Heavy forming may distort the mirror finish.
03 What protection is applied for shipment?
PE / PVC protective film is applied to the polished face. End caps protect coil ID. Wooden crate or seaworthy pallet packaging is standard.
04 Can mirror coil be supplied with protective laser film?
Yes. Laser-PVC and low-tack protective films are available for downstream laser cutting and fabrication.
05 What applications use mirror polished coil?
Architectural cladding, elevator panels, kitchen equipment, decorative trim and signage substrate are common end-uses.
