Stainless steel wire
Standard specification for stainless steel wire, including round, flat, shaped and extruded wire.
Stainless Steel — Industrial Product
Austenitic 304 stainless steel wire supplied to ASTM A580 / EN 10088-3 for springs, mesh, fasteners and industrial applications.
Overview
Stainless Steel Wire 304 combines austenitic stainless steel with 18–20% chromium and 8–10% nickel for reliable general corrosion resistance and consistent dimensional control. The bright annealed surface and uniform mechanical properties make the wire suited to spring production, wire mesh, filters, fasteners, kitchen equipment and chemical processing components. Supplied to ASTM A580 with mill test certification per EN 10204 3.1, it supports global procurement for industrial and sanitary component manufacturing.

FAQ
Most enquiries reduce to a small set of recurring technical questions.
304 stainless wire (1.4301 / SUS304) is an austenitic 18-8 stainless wire offering good corrosion resistance and formability for woven mesh, springs, formed parts and architectural applications.
Stainless wire is used for woven and welded mesh, conveyor belts, springs, fasteners, kitchen equipment, filters, braiding and architectural meshes.
Bright (cold-drawn), annealed (soft), soap-drawn, oiled and polished finishes are available.
Common diameters 0.1 mm to 12 mm. Custom diameters can be supplied.
For chloride or marine exposure, 316 / 316L wire is preferred due to its molybdenum content and improved pitting resistance.
